"I've come here infrequently since it opened and have always found the food to be off a high standard. As other reviews suggest, it's not cheap but I find the portions to be slightly bigger than other Chinese restaurants. We usually order Cantonese dishes and haven't had a bad one yet! Reading other reviews, my assumption is that they are better at cooking more traditional dishes rather than the much loved western 'Chinese' dishes. Since four seasons in bayswater no longer does Cantonese dishes, this is the closest and probably best in the area."

"小炒王 is the best in town, generous portion, carefully chosen ingredients, quality is the same every time I visit 手撕盐焗鸡 also fantastic。 生炒糯米饭 = 功夫菜 ( quality and time consumed cuisine),if you are professional Cantonese food chef, you know why it is called authentic, probably best in Melbourne too. Top 5 authentic cantonese food for the price and taste in Melbourne."

"This Cantonese restaurant is fantastic! The food is so authentic—tastes just like home. The flavor is incredible, especially the mei ji shrimp, pickled vegetable pork patty, and their signature sticky rice. So yummy I couldn’t stop eating! Portions are huge, great for sharing. Prices are super reasonable too. And everything looks really clean, you can tell they take care. Definitely coming back!"
